Had Tommy come to check out my central units to discover that they needed to be replace. So I did the air and heat. Very happy with the installation, professionalism, customer service and comparison of pricing.
Mr. Nygaard was very professional/efficient as he responded within a day. He explained the process fully for a new system and adding a room that heretofore was on a room air/heat. Two other companies that I contacted; one said it could not be done and the other recommended a split system. All the work was done in one day on time. My Nygaard offered a $1000 discount for a cash transaction. The new system is thus far more efficient and quiet. Mr. Nygaard I would highly recommend. He made the process so much simpler than I thought it would be. I appreciate his customer care and honesty.
I have been using Nygaard for several years and have always been pleased with their service. Tommy and his guys have always come out in a reasonable amount of time when called and service has been more than satisfactory. I trust what Tommy advises on my HVAC needs. I just had to have my complete HVAC system replaced. Tommy has advised me for some time that I would need it replaced. He kept up with my estimate and checked with me periodically letting me know about industry changes. The system finally had a failure to a main component and when called, Tommy checked it that afternoon. I decided it was probably time to replace the system and Nygaard had me back is service in less than a week from initial call and in about a half day from when they started replacing the system. The total cost was more than competitive and the service was top quality. I have referred a number of friends to Nygaard and and would not hesitate to refer them to anyone needing HVAC work.
He came out quickly, was very professional and honest! I would definitely use them again recommend this company to my own clients.

Tommy Nygaard is truly an angel. He came to our rescue tonight! Our heater had unexpectedly stopped working in the middle of this cold snowy weather we've been having. I honestly did not think anyone would have came out so soon but Tommy returned my call instantly and came out the same day. He was very professional, listened to my concerns, and let us know he was on the way. He followed all of the Covid-19 guidelines and wore a mask. He quickly figured out the problem and gave us a quote. He had our heater working again in no time. I am so glad I gave him a call and I would recommend him to anyone. I am truly thankful he fixed our heater. I hope I won't need him again anytime soon but for anyone needing their heat or air conditioning serviced please give Tommy a call! You will not regret it!
Very helpful and honest. Called and explained my issue with the pressure switch. He walked me through the process to troubleshoot. Started back working fine. He could’ve came out and charged a service for a simple fix. Will most definitely call for something major ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our unit went out Feb 8 and they were here Saturday Feb 11 and had the old one out and new one in-in 4 hours! The house had cooled down considerably since Monday and is now at a great 70degree temperature. It was 52 inside when they arrived. They were courteous and kept it pretty clean as they worked. I highly recommend Nygaard Heatin and Air Conditioning

My wife happened to be home last week when the temperature in the house started rising. She called Nygaard Heating & Air and Tommy came out right away. He found the outside unit was no longer operable/fixable. We went ahead and ordered an HVAC system as the furnace was pretty dated, too. They were able to install the system the next afternoon/evening and we had cool air by bedtime! Great company & great service!

Reached out to Tommy and he came out the same day at the specified time. He was courteous, polite and answered any questions we had. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to make the repair needed. We talked about realistic expectations for the future regarding the HVAC system and what options would look like but with no pressure or a hard sell. I would not hesitate to reach out in the future for repairs or a replacement system.

We purchased units in July for both our air and heat. We were very happy with the installation, professionalism, and customer service. Today (7 months later)our downstairs heater wasn't working. I called and immediately got a response and the problem fixed. Our problem had nothing to do with the units installed but was a power surge issue at our home. However, they still fixed the issue and even followed up to make sure everything was up and running hours later (on a COLD Saturday). Thank you Nygaard Heating and Air!
After being given a laughable quote for repairs from another local company, we called Nygaard HVAC and Tom came out that same evening and was honest, kind, knowledgeable, and fair. He made the entire process so easy and answered every question we had. Not only was Tom a pleasure to work with, but his crew (I regret not getting their names) only mirrored the same feeling we got from out first meeting with Tom. They completed the work in the timespan we were given, even under in part of it and were so respectful. While they were here, a family member even had a flat tire and they helped her with changing it and finding her a new one. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to cover it with this company.
I reached out to Nygaard Heating and Air through their website and got a phone call within an hour. They were able to send a technician to meet me the same day to check my unit. They explained my options thoroughly and scheduled a replacement unit for the following week (they could have done it the next day but my schedule had conflicts). The team showed up exactly when scheduled and completed the job in the estimated amount of time. Excellent quality and superior service. Great company and would highly recommend them for any HVAC/Heat job!
Very honest and will not try to get you to pay for work that does not have to be done, like some of the bigger companies. I definitely recommend!
I had two brand new complete HVAC units installed by Tommy in January. After getting many estimates over the last few months Tommy came in with a great estimate that was the same or lower than the others. But the cost was not why I chose Tommy; it was his personality. When I met him I could tell right away he was an honest and reasonable person. Call it intuition. He explained everything I needed to know about getting my two units installed and patiently answered all of my questions. After meeting with other HVAC professionals and then meeting Tommy I knew for sure he was the guy to do business with. He and his crew completely installed both units in about 6 hours. That includes the blower/heater units upstairs in the attic and the two units outside. He serviced both with Freon but told me he would have to come back when it was warmer to finish the freon charge so that it was serviced correctly. He came back about two weeks ago and finished the service. Then last week he called and told me that when he serviced the freon his tooling was out of calibration and he wants to come out again and double check the freon charge. I was impressed because of this. Any other HVAC Tech could of not even called me and told me that, but he did! All transactions with him went smoothly from the estimate to the install and after the install. I feel he is there "for me" if anything else was to happen to my units. I HIGHLY recommend Tommy Nygaard for all of your HVAC needs! Give him a call.

Nygaard came to tune up my A/C unit in preparation for the summer months. Very professional and showed up on time (with none of that 5-hour window BS I might add). Knowledgeable and professional throughout the appointment. This is my first home, so I tend to ask about a lot and he replied to all of my questions, comments, and concerns both before and during the appointment with a very friendly manner. 10/10 would recommend and will be using his services in the future! BONUS: He actually fixed my front door jamb too! Not technically a part of his business, but it was busted and he really helped me out big time!

I cannot say enough about the level of service we received! Our air was not working. I called Tommy and he was able to come out that same day (on a Sunday!) We thought we had it fixed, but it started doing the same thing the next day. Tommy came out that day. He replaced a couple of parts that could have led to the problem. We still had problems. He came out and found the culprit. He did not charge us because he had already been out a couple times and wanted to make it right. He even came back another day to redo some piping that he didn’t like the look of! Our air is working better than ever now! The fact that he wants to make it right instead of making a quick buck is hard to find these days. He will always be our go-to AC guy.
Contacted Tommy around 7:30am because one our units quit cooling the night before. He had a chance to work us in luckily the same day and got us up and running! Highly recommended for all your heat and AC needs!!

I have to give a big shout out to Tommy and his guys for coming right out when my air conditioner gave up the ghost and left us without. Bad news was my compressor was toast but I was given a fair price on a new complete unit and he had it installed and running the very next day !!!!!

Yesterday, on one of the hottest days of the year, the capacitor on our AC unit decided to go out and our house climbed to 86° 🥵 I contacted Nygaard Heating and Air Conditioning this morning and he was at our house within the hour and got us all fixed up. 🙌🏼 We are so appreciative!

We scheduled an appointment (same day) and Mr Nygaard arrived right on schedule, was very professional and informative. He serviced our a/c unit (full inspection and clean) in a timely manner.
